Patent Prosecution Associate

Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck, P.C., a premier intellectual property law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking an experienced patent attorney. This position will provide the opportunity to work on a wide variety of patent prosecution, opinion, and counseling matters in the chemical field with quality domestic and foreign clients. The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate or advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related discipline and have 3-6 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Superior academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Docketing Specialist

We are seeking a Docketing Specialist with one to three years of solid experience in all aspects of patent and trademark docketing. Knowledge of Inprotech or similar computerized system is highly desirable. Must be team player and able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and speech. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as overtime may be required. Some college is preferred. Excellent benefits and salary commensurate with experience.
