Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Practice

Our firm has handled hundreds of trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). We have also successfully handled numerous ex parte appeals before the TTAB. However, as over 90% of TTAB proceedings are resolved before “trial,” we work with our clients to find the most favorable resolution to these matters. Such resolutions can include co-existence agreements and licensing agreements which may lead to a substantial savings in attorneys’ fees in the long run.
