Davide F. Schiavetti*
Davide F. Schiavetti focuses his practice on litigation and U.S. and international trademark prosecution and registration. He advises large multinational companies in the fashion, automotive, food and beverage, software and consumer products industries. By virtue of his background, he counsels clients from civil law jurisdictions in U.S. litigation and trademark prosecution and registration. He assists with the management of the Italian trademark portfolio, representing Valentino, Ferrero, Lavazza, Soremartec, Barilla, and Fiat, among others.
Prior to joining Rothwell Figg as an associate, Mr. Schiavetti was an associate in the International Arbitration Group of a global law firm, where he drafted briefs, conducted research, and assisted with complex international arbitrations. Additionally, from November 2014 to August 2015, Mr. Schiavetti worked as a law clerk at Rothwell Figg. During this time, he served on matters involving U.S. and international trademark prosecution and registration, and patent law, and he worked closely with members of the litigation team to draft notices of opposition and motions.
Mr. Schiavetti graduated with an LL.M. in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law, and with a joint degree Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Law (J.D. equivalent) from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milano, Italy.
