Jennifer B. Maisel Associate
Overview

Jennifer B. Maisel's practice encompasses all aspects of patent law including patent litigation, patent prosecution, transactions, opinions, and counseling. She has experience in pre-litigation counseling, motions practice, and counseling as to the scope, validity and enforceability of rights of existing patents. Additionally, she has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO for domestic and foreign based clients. Ms. Maisel has expertise in a broad range of diverse technologies, including those in the Internet, computing, telecommunication, networking, and finance fields.

Ms. Maisel first joined Rothwell Figg as a summer associate in 2011. In 2012, Ms. Maisel joined the firm after graduating with honors from The George Washington University Law School. She was also secretary of the Cyberlaw Students Association, a staff member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal, and a member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.

In 2009, Ms. Maisel graduated cum laude from Cornell University's College of Engineering with a B.S. degree in Information Science, Systems, and Technology with a specialization in Operations Research and Information Engineering.

Ms. Maisel is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and the Bar of the District of Columbia, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Additionally, Ms. Maisel is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US).
